"I got to take it on the other side"
- Otherside by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Let's see, I have been up since 8 AM this morning, I called my dad (it was his birthday), talked to my mom about tickets home and stuff, went to the gym with Hope, had LOST Knights meeting and all of that before brunch. After brunch I did homework, I finished the econ problem set and the physics prelab, I know I should do some more, but honestly I am not in the mood. I also have a bunch of emails and stuff I need to send. I don't know if I wanna go to game tonight, I am not really in the mood, but I know that there are people that count on me comming and I need the xp for going. I think I am slightly sick, I normally don't feel physically crappy like I do today, I am feeling mentally crappy as well, but that is something I'll share with people on a more induviual basis than a blog. Let's just leave it at, it feels like there is a mule kicking me in the stomach about every five minutes. I need a proper Thomas hug and Pure Pwnage. This is a RHCP day, maybe also a Gorillaz day. I have diffrent music for my moods, I am going to write a blog about my music one of these days.
Yesterday I returned the book I had borrowed from the libary, "120 days of Sodom" by Marqius de Sade. It is a very fucked up book and I would not recomend reading it if you have problems with any of the following: extremely detailed description of sex, pedofilia, insest, rich bastards, making fun of the clergy, torture, death, or extreme fantasies. I have now lost all innocence, I will never claim to be innocent again, that book cured me of that. Now, why I read it. This puzzled some people. Well, I got to know about it by stumbeling over the video of Babylon AD by Cradle of Filth, then I read it and it stirred an morbid interest in me. It started bugging me, in the 'I wonder what acctually happens' way (the same thing got me to read Stoker's Dracula a few years back). So I borrowed it and read it, I did however not read the entire thing, only about half of the acctual plot is written out, the rest is just notes and I read those (I wish I had not). Trust me, you do not want to read it unless you have a very strong stomach.
Anyway the new book I got was Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson, I read this book about two years ago and then when I got into Second Life last fall I wanted to read it again and now I got hold of it. Yay...!
