Little Notes

I hate being sick. Aperently something has been going around here and me being used to a totally different life I have gotten it, of course. It is just a cold. But I hate it. I feel warm and sluggish. Not fun at all.

Today my bother, mother and I was in the city. I got some new clothes. Long sleeved t-shirts to go underneath my thread-less shirts. And a couple of nice button downs. And knee long socks. I go shopping for clothes maybe 3 times a year so this was fun. I also got a couple of D&D books as a gift from my grandparents. They look fun. And sexy underwear. I like sexy underwear. I can wear really shabby clothes but if I am wearing nice underwear I just feel good. And I got some stuff from body shop. Yeah, all in all a nice trip. Food shopping in a proper grocery store was great. I was fussing over the fruit and the cheese and the meat and... Yeah I am a proper food snob. On that note. My favorite food place. It is gone. It was an Italian place a lot like Fresh Pasta for those of you know NoHo. And it had been my regular food place for the last 8 years. And now it is gone. It is replaced by another Italian place. They changed the look of it. It looked more 'shabby chick' as opposed to shabby. And they had played up the mafia theme. A giant Godfather poster was what greeted you when you came up the stairs. I have to say the place looked better. And that was the only good thing they had done. The food was crap. Tasted like something from the dining hall. Too expensive for what you got (even by Norwegian standards) and the service was crap. I have to find a new place. Damn. I liked that place.

Tomorrow I hope to get some sewing done. Finish the shirt and the pants for the D&D Oriental costume I got planned. I want to get this done. Hopefully I'll feel better. Speaking of gaming. This guy said he wanted to some character portraits for me. I am really exited. I am starting work on the shadow run campaign I'll be running. There will be a LJ community up and running for it pretty soon I think. It is here if you are curious/planning on playing. Yes. I know there is absolutely nothing there. I'll fix that within a few days.

I am also working on my LARP character. I think she might be the cooks apprentice or maybe a tailor. Both of those should give me fun stuff to work with
