Today I joined my dad for work for one very simple reason, broadband. After a lot of trouble with the IP address(apperently my comp can't get an automatic one, don't ask me what that means, I only have a slight idea myself), I am now up and running, fast, until around 15,30 Oslo time. Let's see what have happened since my last post.
Friday: Midsummer, or at least midsummer celebration. We teamed up with around half of the villiage and had a big beach BBQ. Really nice, lovely weather (though a bit windy so we did not have a midsummer bonfire) and kids running all over the place. I got some nice photos of typical Norwegian summer, you know the postcard type... Hehe, 10 months of hanging around Thomas have gotten into my blood, I take pictures like a maniac now. Yesterday I took one of a couple of USB cables that was randomly lying on my desk. Talk about easily affected...
Saturday: Guests.
My uncle, aunt and two cousins came for a visit, and stayed over the night. My cousins are gonna stay until the comming weekend though. I ended up having a long chat with them about what to study, I am not so sure anymore. Maybe I should follow up on the family tradition of doing something connected to sience or maths, like a masterdegree of Ing, called Siv. Ing. in Norwegian. Or maybe something conected with higher physics, I don't know if I am good enough in maths for that though. Or...Or.. I don't know.
Sunday: Cabin party
4 freinds of mine (Anne Rakel, Siri, Merete and Eli Beate) and I went for a trip to Anne Rakel's cabin. More BBQing, bathing and just generally having fun. We went to bed around 2 at night, which is a late night for me and got out of bed at 13.something. Hehe, sleeping bags all over the place. Ants everywhere and a smelly toilet, we all love cabins don't we? It is weird more and more of my freinds are getting their driving lience. And you can't count the times I have been practice driving on one hand, and thanks to RCN I am not going to have my driving lience for some years. I was planning on taking it after university, if I don't end up in Norway that is, then I need it to get around. But imagine meeting a huge truck on one of the narrow Norwegian roads, Oh the HORROR!
