Half way to Christmas

Riddles:
Dec. 12
Stronger than steel,
And older than time;
They are more patient than death
and shall stand even when the stars have ceased to shine.
Their strength is embedded
in roots buried deep
Where the sands and frosts of ages
can never hope to touch or reach.

Rant:
Been studying chinese all day today. I think I get it, at least pretty well, but I am probably fret like a squrriel tomorrow. But I think it will be fine, maybe not the best in the world, but I hopefully will not fail.
I was just out spinning, I needed to work out some knots in my shoulders. And I had this woman comming up to me:
Woman: I am sorry to bother you...
Me: No, just go ahead...
Woman: Are those (pointing to my unlit LED poi) the ones with light in them?
Me: Yes they do light up
Woman: I saw you spinning a few weeks ago, and I was wondering where did you get them? I would like to buy a pair for my niese.
Me: Well, I got these from Homeofpoi.com, but if she have not been spinning before I recommend getting some softer ones to begin with.
Continue poi rant for ten minutes.
Kind of fun..
And I found this, Norwegian food... I want gløgg, and brun ost... and melkeskjokolade... and ...and... NORWEGIAN FOOD... Food, glorious food,, wonderful food...*dances around singing about food*
