Good Days

Ok, so screw the vid and listen to the song.. The beauty of Norwegian music. I have been a fan of these guys for ages. Some of the best Norwegian music happens to be rap, both in English and Norwegian. What I like about Paperboys is that they cover many different topics. There are the amazing soul searching songs like 'Find my Way' or 'One Day', and then feel good songs like 'Tomorrow' or 'Wiggle it' and then there are the cocky i'm-the-best songs like 'what you need.' Another thing I like about them is that even though all their lyrics are in English they are very aware and proud of the fact that they are Norwegians, and a lot of the references are made to it. Like that they say 'kronas' in stead of 'dollars'. That might not seem like a lot, but it does matter in this Americanised world.
But yeah, what started this rant was my need to describe how the last few days have been. In one word, perfect. Dressed up for work, felt pretty, didn't get any guests so I spent the days listening to Billibob Baddings, and after work yesterday I walked straight from work to the beach (which is two minutes from where I work) and the water was nice and warm (21 degrees C). It's been totally chill. Today it was rainy but it didn't matter. I got to sew and stuff. In short life is perfect and as my grandmother used to say "I wish everybody in the world had it as nice as I have." And that is true. I honestly wish everyone could have days like this.
