A little break and People problems

So, just a short break before I go and weigh the Asperin we made in chem lab yesterday.
I am working, but I feel better about it, even if the compsci homework is a bitch this week and I think Audery will kill me. I just talked to Trygve, he can't make it today so well meet up on Friday instead.
I have been doing more art. Started another coloring yesterday, will continue that at work. This one is of Claire's character Pease. Then I got another drawing waiting on me...

So lately I have had a very short patience with some people. I know it is over reacting but it feels like they either do not think or they do things specifically to annoy me. Like talk crap about stuff I like. And I can't help but want to scream "get down of your high horse and try something new" or "Ok, so people like different things, shut the fuck up." I don't mind people having different opnions, but please if you are going to talk crap about something I like preface it with an "I think" or something to that effect. Or you can try talking about what you like without talking crap about things I like. It is actually possible.
And I know this is overreacting, which is why I am not talking to the people about it. But honestly, there is a few things I like that I have had to hear take crap my entire life and I have been looked down on for some of the things I like, which have made me very defensive of these things. They are my things, and your crap won't make me change my mind so why do you insist on talking crap?

I know what you mean! I think I have had everything I like mocked at some point or other. TV-shows, music, clothes, D&D, choice of books, the fact that I read at all, certain artists or styles of art, performing styles and the list just goes on and on.

You could try to point out, preferably in a mock enthusiastic voice, that "you like, totally agree, and that, like, they should totally not give more reasons for their opinion, or respect that others might disagree."

Hehe, or you could just tell them that you disagree, I always find that adding a bit of "return fire" spices up the discussion or at least teaches them a lesson.

Awesome work on your grades! I knew you could do it and I know you can keep it up!
