aka. new year resolutions.
I generally make these and break them within a week. But here are some I think I can do
1. write 2000 words of fiction a week, this is for me being bad about NaNoWriMo. And this is something I think I could do easily. It doesn't have to be all one piece. It can even be fanfiction. The important thing is that it is 2000 words of fiction each week.
2. Learn at least one song on guitar. And if I cheat and do something like Los by Rammstein, I have to learn both the main part and the solo.
3. Be more honest with my friends. Apperently my friends find me hard to read and that it is hard to know when I need them the most
4. Speak a little bit of German every day. Even if it is just to myself
5. Take care of myself a little every week. Take an hour or two to take a long shower, shave, do my eyebrows. Give myself a foot massage. Dress up and wear make up and feel pretty. You know, some thing along those lines
6. Go out for coffee at least once every week. IE. Woodstar
7. Payday Sushi. You up for it Madison?
8. Have at least one submission to dA every week.
9. Do at least one drawing every week. Doesn't have to be overly fancy
10. Go to at least 2 fencing practises a week.
11. Watch 2 seasons of Sopranos, 4 seasons of 'Allo 'Allo, 4 seasons of Blackadder and the half season of Firfly.
12 Read the books on my books of 2008 list. This was inspired by a post by Ashlyn.
Anything else people thinks I should do or other books you think I should read?
The 2008 book list:
book 2,3,4, of the Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling
Speaker for the Dead by Orbison Scott Card
Life of Pi by Yann Martel
Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson
Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson
Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho
Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami (a reread)
Windup Bird Chronicle or Norwegian Woods by Haruki Murakami
Jazz by Toni Morrison (maybe this book is better in English, I hope so, it sucks in Norwegian)
The Buddha of Suburbia by Hanif Kureishi (reread)
The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milean Kundera (another reread)
Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut (another reread, in my opnion one of the best books out there)
Catch 22 by Joseph Heller
Sophie's World or the Solitaire Mystery by Jostein Garder (both rereads)
Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien(reread)
Silmarilion by JRR Tolkien (reread)
All of Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan (reread)
That is what I plan to get through. If you are wondering that is 30 books. Any other that you would recommend?

Check the blog.
if you want, or subscribe to his newsletter

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
The Warrior of Light pays attention to small things because they can severely hamper him.
