2 feet of snow

So, we are covered in snow. In the last 24 hours we have gotten two feet or so. It is rather amazing. When I went to feed the horses, now 12 hours ago it went up to just below my knees. And it has been snowing steadily since. What I like is that people are calm about it. Of course they are taking extra measures but there is no state of panic. We had a power outage for two hours. Pretty cool. So today have been an inside day. And I am very very happy I didn't go Larping. But yeah, sewing, making coffee and tea, making dinner (oh amazing chicken), knitting, writing (yes), arting, playing computer games and sleeping. All in all a very nice day. I wrote almost 600 words. Which if I can manage the same tomorrow is a good start. What I am missing is reading. I can't find the book I want to read. But I guess I can start with something else. During todays nap I dreamt that I was part of a D&D crew, that consisted partly of real and fictional characters. One of them was Claire. Another was Adrian. There was this snowstorm and we had to build a snow shelter and hide in it, and then we all just cuddled up inside and it was rather nice. I want to try to make a real snow shelter sometime. Maybe now is a good time.
