Big thak you to Cheryl, Thomas, Danna, Anton, Nikola, Lore, Lisa, Vasco, Natalia, Shanell, Aria, Catherine, Katrine, Alex, Ingrid, Ellen, Kirsten, Mor, Far, Farmor, Miriam and Hope for having said Happy Birthday someway or another.
Here it is snowing, but it does not matter that much, I spent a fair amount of the day doing programming homework, but I had tea and music and the assignment was quite fun, making a trafficlight that would light up and change color after a set time. I had to build two classes for this, and play around with graphics, I used to not like graphics, but after we started classes I have really started liking graphics.
When I woke up this morning I found a mental note to myself "Dear Tonje. Happy Birthday. I am sorry not everyone is here to say happy birthday but Snow and Storm decided to celebrate you're birthday all night and you know them, Mercury is too stoned to know what day it is, Lilith have been keeping to herself since Mercury moved in and I have not seen her much and Val is out on a job. So happy birthday kid. - Silver"(if you had absolutely no idea what this was about, All of these are fictional characters living in my head, there will be an intro to them in a minute)
The Bone Dolls Twin by Lynn Flewelling was a pleasant surprise, I am about 1/3 in and I like it so far.
So yeah the characters I talked about a minute ago. They are all fictional characters that have moved into my head, they are my version of the minature angel and devil sitting on your shoulder. They offer opions and world veiws and they really amuse me. So here is an inrtoduction to who they really are.
Snow- my oldest character, she has been with me since before I turned 10. She is a mercenary, ruthless and cold, yet I love her. She started out as my version as a guardian angel and have evolved from there.
Storm- moved in last night, he was a NPC in Siobahn's Game of Thrones game. I just played him in a scene and he just decided to move in. He is a bard, of the good old fantasy kind, he drinks too much and would sleep with anything.
Mercury - Moved in on Friday, another NPC that I was just playing for a little while and then he refused to move out. He is from Kayleigh's Mage game. He used to be a MD but after his awaking he turned all hippe.
Lilith - moved in a few months ago. She is my vampire character, she is very egosentric and interesting.
Val - moved in skiweek in my first year at RCN. She is a D&D shadowdancer, she is an elf noble who is a rouge for fun.
Silver - moved in Conbust '07. Originally from a Shardowrun oneshot, have now evolved into something more. Elf with an 'ungodly' charisma. Is currently inlove with an orc.

Done for this week
I just finished my computer science homework, and submitted them to the teacher. The deadline is on thursday, but it feels very good to be done. I did most in lab on thursday, but there was this one little bug I could not figure out, now however that is fixed and the program ran the way it was supposed too. I think I am going to work on figuring out how emacs and python works on windows when I have time, because going all the way to the computer labs is annoying (the labs I use are all in the science quad), which means that I need to get hold of an SSH client, to be able to connect to beowulf. Yay! When I was doing my reading the other day I came across compilers, and suddenly Thomas' phrase ran trough my head: "A complier is a...." , and I had a 'oh so it was that he was talking about' expirience.
My mom turned 50 today, happy birthday mom! She got a trip to Rome from her siblings and father, I hope she has a great time when she does go. She told me some of her students had baked her cake, and she almost cried. Cute, I remember we did the same when one of our teachers turned 40, he also got two ducklings from us. Talking about birthdays, I can't wait 'till mine comes around , mainly because I know what I'll be getting ( I am buying it for myself), a new camera. Over christmas I told my parents I was going to buy one anyway and that instead of them spending too much money on postage (Last Nemi cost my mom NOK 150(!) to send here) they could just chip in on the camera, and told them to tell the rest of the family the same. I think I am also going to do the now yearly tradition of making my moms spagetti sauce.
On the jewlery side, I am now done with the small byzantine bracelet and have started a japanese style one (though it might turn into a ankelet or necklace). I got the insipration from this page. Loads of lovely jewlery there.
