Mm summer

These last two or three days have been fantastic, sun and summery without being killing. Over the weekend it was deadly. I was going crazy and not being able to do anything. I have not been able to get any writing done. It has simply been too hot to be productive. I was planning on getting stuff written last night. I have a ton of things that really could be written, but then Claire was distracting me with Oblivion. So I have been very very bad. I have been trying to plot out the next two chapters of Savin' Me but I got other bunnies jumping too high. I also want to do some art. Been wanting it for a few days now. Mmm not enough time...

I have been planning on moving all my blogging to wordpress, but I am not sure. What is people's opinion of this?

Yay, another early to work post. I seem to be doing a lot of them.

As I am sitting here my back is getting blasted with cold air. It is absolutely fantastic. It is cold and lovely and nothing like the bone crushing heat outside. I am working on some somewhat important stuff so that is good. I really don't think my brain would function if it was any warmer.

On the writing front I am enjoying myself greatly. I did not write yesterday and that felt weird. Which I take as a very good sign. I got three plot bunnies running around my head, one for a decent story that will be the sequel (though pre-quel might be a better word) to Savin' Me and two fanfic bunnies. Always fun right? Since may I have written over 6 000 words on the Savin' Me fic and that I count as very good. I generally have problems making things longer than 500-600 words. And now I have 10 times that. And plot for another 6 000. Which is very good as one of my goals is to make that fic 10K words long.

A litttle tired

Heh, yeah, I am likely to ramble here. I am far far too tired. Maybe I am in a great state to do a DEE post. For those of you DEE is here. He is an amusing character. Talks a lot about random stuff. And drinks more than he should. But hey, that is the fun of him. If you wanna comment, just do it there. Incharacter comments are appriciated, and either way, if you make a comment and does not state that it is fore the author Dee will be the one answering.
Another character that has been noisy lately have been Ramon. He gave me a few stories from his childhood and not so long ago. I might type them up and post them here. They are just drabbles, but I find that drabbles are a great way to get to know a character. They describe the characters mood at that particular point.

First Blood-A Ramon story

Ramon stared in horror at the man at his feet, the blood seeping from the man's ear. So red, he had never imagined it would be so red. The stone fell from his hand. Blood spattered it. Blood spattered Ramon's arms and face, but he didn't notice. All he saw was the dead gaze in the man's eyes. He shivered, unable to tear his eyes away. Everything that happened around him was a blur. His crew mates fighting, gunfire, the sounds of swords clashing, smoke stinging your eyes. Far away, in a dream, he hear someone yelling his name. He wanted to answer, but his voice couldn't work. He couldn't move, couldn't speak, couldn't tear his eye away. He was captured by the dead man. The man he had killed. He had killed. Him, a killer. He was damned. He had seen men die before, seen them killed, but not by his hand. He felt filthy, he wanted to turn, to run away. Far away he knew his crew mates were fighting. Loosing. They were yelling at each other, at him. A strong arm wrapped around the thirteen year old boy, lifted him and carried him away. He didn't register where, all he could see was the accusing gaze of the dead.

In other news. Life is good. I am slightly on top of things. Mainly due to not going to practise yesterday. I don't think I will go on wednesday either. I have other stuff that I need to do. Project, paper and one take home exam

Acomplished

Yesterday I managed to finish the ren (like) garb I have been working on. A chemise, steel boned corset, bodice and skirt, all made by yours truly, with help from my mom. We have also ordered more fabric so, my next project will be the coat. A full length black (fake) leather coat. We will have to do some pattern modifications but that should be easy enough, between us we have somewhere between 40 and 50 years of sewing expirience. What should be more than enough right? I am not sure what I am going to do for my next costume. I kind of want to do something more eastern inspired. I was planning to do something middle eastern for a larp costume. I found a really cool resource for that, here. Any ideas for costumes I should make myself?
Even better, yesterday I finally got some writing done. I have been planning to write for ages, but never got any done. Then yesterday I said at work: 'Now I am going to write until my battery is out'. Which resulted in a 550 word flash story. Can be found here. It seems that I only have an writing attention span of about 500 words(trust me, that is not fun when you have to write for school). Unless I am really in the mood of course. But I have some ideas that I want to do with these guys, so what it looks like I do is a series of flash stories. I'll do another one at work today. Yay!...

Spring is comming...

... I can smell it. Acctually not only smell it, feel it, hear it, almost taste it in the air. In short my body is telling me spring is here. I walked to and from Seelye in my sweather only, no need for the heavy wool sweather I carried with me. It is wonderful, I am a big fan of spring and summer. I look forweard to being able to lay on Chapin lawn and do my homework.
It is thursday again, which means I have a long day. Today is even worse than normal, we're doing the prepared preformance tomorrow in Chinese class, which means I need to meet up with my partner and make a dialouge and then practise it. Well maybe I'll practise with the tutor tonight. Apart from that I only have daily homework for Physics, nothing that is due tomorrow. I should do some work on the second econ problem set, but we'll see. In compsci lab today I think we are going to work with graphics, which while fun, is probably going to be a bitch to work. In class today we watched An Inconvinient Truth, it was the third time I have seen that movie, yay!
In general life news, I am over my emotional low I had over the weekend, I don't know it is just that I have been drowning it in work, or if I acctually am better. Yesterday I started one of my new goals, to write 500 words a day to get into the habbit for NaNoWriMo, which I want to do sometime. Most of the stories in my head are only short story material, but I am assuming that when I get into the habbit of writing more will come. At least I have a ton of ideas for short stories. The one I am doing now is how Val and Fnipp (two of Bunny's and mine rpg characters) met. (BUNNY: I need Fnipp's full name...) Then I have at least one on Val's childhood, one on Sarah (current vampire character), one on Lilith (next vampire character), stories about various other of my larp characters, one on Magnus and Loki (wait and see) and stuff for the pirate larp. So yeah, I'll be writing for a while. I might put them up here or on deviantart, I am not sure. Ok, have to go to class. Will continue this post between econ and lab.

Acctually it is now after the lab, or the lab is not over yet, but I am done. Yay for easy labs.. Graphics proved not to be as difficult as I feared, acctually quite nice and simple. Sitting next to Katerina and Hampshire guy I don't know the name of was fun, we were joking and being cynical. I feel like I am having a fever, same thing happened last week, I think it is the room, the air is too dry. I should really go do homework, but I don't want to and I have another ten minutes beforeI start feeling bad for not doing it. Katerina is talking to the screen, it is very amusing, emacs is not her freind today.
I am working extra on saturday, only one and a half hour but... My next pay check is among other things being used to shop at theringlord.com, yeah I am making chainmaille, weeee. I am probably going to buy a cell phone, I need to have one for ConBust 07.
